Job description

Everything the browser cannot do itself happens here: prices from two upstreams reconciled into one catalogue, swap quotes routed through 0x, and a cache layer that decides how fresh is fresh enough. The work is small in surface and unforgiving in detail, because a wrong number on this screen is somebody deciding to move money on it.

Job responsibilities

• Own the pricing and market routes end to end, including what happens when an upstream is slow or wrong.
• Keep upstream calls within their rate limits without letting the screen go stale.
• Write the tests that stop a bad number reaching a person.
